Michael Jackson the man wasn't invincible. But his legacy is now solid as a rock.

The late pop icon's children imprinted some of their father's most famous accessories—his sparkly glove and shiny black shoes—in the cement in the forecourt of Grauman's Chinese Theatre today on Hollywood Boulevard.

Mom Katherine Jackson, Smokey Robinson, Chris Tucker and Justin Bieber were in attendance at the ceremony, which also featured a performance by the cast of Cirque du Soleil's Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour.

"It's a very good celebration and I know if Michael was here he would agree, to see all the friends and loved ones and especially his fans here to celebrate this with him," Katherine Jackson told the assembled crowd.

In addition to Jackson, Grauman's contains hand, shoe and object-prints belonging to luminaries ranging from Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint to Marilyn Monroe and Humphrey Bogart.

"Just left the Michael Jackson ceremony...i dont get nervous usually but i was really nervous. to be with his family. he was the greatest!" Bieber tweeted afterward.

"Make it trend. all of us should give him the tribute he deserved. To THE KING OF POP. Michael thank you. #MJ FOREVER -"

Are Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Jennifer Lawrence Headed to the Oscars?

January 26, 2012 4:06:57 PM by Marc Malkin

We won't be surprised one bit if we see Robert Pattinson at this year's Academy Awards.

Yes, he's presented at the Oscars already, but...

His new flick, Bel Ami, is set for release just a few days after Hollywood's biggest night of the year. A rep for the Twilight star didn't comment on his possible plans to attend.

Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart is also said to be at the top of the presenter wish list. While Snow White and the Huntsman doesn't hit theaters until June, she'd ideally be paired with her hunky fairy-tale costar Chris Hemsworth.

Mr. Hemsworth actually has two flicks, The Avengers and The Cabin in the Woods, coming out before Snow White, so what better way to promote them all in one big shot than at the Oscars?

And then, of course, there's The Hunger Games. I'm told studio honchos at Lionsgate are working overtime to have a Hunger Games presence. The flick comes out less then a month after the Oscars on March 23.

While I'm told Jennifer Lawrence (who was a first-time Oscar nominee last year for her work in Winter's Bone) hasn't received an offer from the Academy just yet, we think it would be pretty awesome to see her hit the stage with those hottie costars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.

Now we want to hear from you. Let's help the Academy out with some suggestions of possible presenters. Let them know who you want to see on the big night in the comments below!

Sean Penn Saves Bartender From Rowdy Boozer

Today 4:45 PM PSTby Marc Malkin

Sean Penn to the rescue—and not just in Haiti!

The actor probably thought he was going to have a peaceful time out last night when he hit the Zinc Lounge at the Shade hotel in Manhattan Beach, Calif., at about 11 p.m.

However...

While enjoying a drink with a lady friend, a fellow bar patron apparently had a few too many.

"This guy was drunk and yelling at the bartender," an eyewitness tells me. "He wasn't making much sense, but he was loud and just kept screaming."

That's when Penn sprung into action.

"Sean came over to the bar and said, 'Is everything OK over here?'" the source said. "The guy was a smart aleck and said to Sean, 'Stay out of it, Sparky!'" (Maybe he meant to say Spicoli?)

Penn remained calm, gave the guy a smile and returned to his table.

And that seemed to do the trick. The boozy dude stopped yelling and left the bar.

Good job, Mr. Penn.
