Michael Jackson the man wasn't invincible. But his legacy is now solid as a rock.

The late pop icon's children imprinted some of their father's most famous accessories—his sparkly glove and shiny black shoes—in the cement in the forecourt of Grauman's Chinese Theatre today on Hollywood Boulevard.

Mom Katherine Jackson, Smokey Robinson, Chris Tucker and Justin Bieber were in attendance at the ceremony, which also featured a performance by the cast of Cirque du Soleil's Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour.

"It's a very good celebration and I know if Michael was here he would agree, to see all the friends and loved ones and especially his fans here to celebrate this with him," Katherine Jackson told the assembled crowd.

In addition to Jackson, Grauman's contains hand, shoe and object-prints belonging to luminaries ranging from Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint to Marilyn Monroe and Humphrey Bogart.

"Just left the Michael Jackson ceremony...i dont get nervous usually but i was really nervous. to be with his family. he was the greatest!" Bieber tweeted afterward.

"Make it trend. all of us should give him the tribute he deserved. To THE KING OF POP. Michael thank you. #MJ FOREVER -"

George Michael Remembers Amy Winehouse, Reveals Split with Longtime Love

What a showman.

During Monday's opening night performance of his Symphonica tour at Prague State Opera House, George Michael didn't just give fans a moving rendition of Amy Winehouse's "Love is a Losing Game," the pop star also revealed that he and longtime partner Kevin Goss have broken up, the Daily Mirror reports.

"It's time to be honest," the onetime Wham! man told fans.

"My love life has has been a lot more turbulent than I've let on. This man has brought me a lot of joy and a lot of pain," Michael explained, before dedicating a song to ex, titled "Where I Hope You Are."

The 48-year-old singer—who has experienced some turbulence the public was aware of—reportedly had a decade-long relationship with the former flight attendant, and the two had planned to marry in 2005, when the U.K. legalized gay marriages, officially known as the Civil Partnership Act.

The couple ended the relationship two-and-a-half years ago, according to the singer.

And as for Winehouse, it's no secret the singer was (and still is) a huge fan of the young star who passed away last month, tweeting, "Amy was, in my opinion,the most soulful vocalist this country has ever seen."

He went to tweet, "I can't quite believe it....PLEASE PLEASE would her record company re-release her tenderest love song, 'Love is a Losing Game' as soon as I seem to remember it getting lost in the chaos of Christmas releases a few years back. It would be HUGE now, and It's the way she should be remembered. As one of the greatest singer songwriters of all time. I hope she is at peace now."

KISS has just been told to beat it from that Michael Jackson tribute concert.

The band's invitation to play the event was rescinded today after Jackson's estate complained about old comments Gene Simmons made about the late King of Pop.  

So what did the sharp-tongued singer say that resulted in the uninvitation?

Following Jackson's 2009 death, Simmons proclaimed that there was "no question in my mind he molested those kids. Not a doubt," referring to the numerous allegations leveled at the pop star. Jackson was never convicted of any such crimes, however.

Howard Weitzman, a lawyer for Jackson's estate, sent a letter to the organizers of the Oct. 8 concert in Wales, complaining about the inclusion of KISS. That prompted today's surprise reversal.

"Global Live Events has pulled them from the lineup.We have listened to Michael's fans and are grateful to have been alerted to these unfortunate statements by Gene Simmons," said CEO Chris Hunt.

"Under the circumstances we fully agree that KISS is a band Michael admired we have no choice but to rescind our invitation to them to appear in our tribute concert. we offer our sincerest apologies to Mrs. [Katherine] Jackson and the family for this oversight. Our primary concern must be to do justice to Michael's memory, and to put on a tribute that the family and the fans will find suitable and fit for a King, our King of Pop."

There was no immediate comment from the usually outspoken Simmons.

Among the acts still on the bill: Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo, Leona Lewis and Alien Ant Farm, with more expected to join.
