Madonna, Wrinkles and HD TV: Curing wrinkles

by Theresa Daviesin Entertainment / Celebrities    (submitted 2012-02-12)

Celebrities are now living in fear. As the sales of HD televisions go up, we find that the youthful and iconic images of stars like Madonna, and Demi Moore, who both remain sex symbols in their fifies, are not what we think them to be. Indeed, we will find that more and more celebrities, will want to have either cosmetic surgery, or use more powerful anti-ageing creams, to ensure that they are able, to remain relevant in the public eye, and in the lofty world of Hollywood, where signs of age, mean the end of a career. People all over the world have all heard the sayings: Wrinkles are a representation of a person's life, and show the stories that a person's life has. Laugh lines, show a life of joy, and a furrowed forehead, shows stress. But in Hollywood, they would rather not be reminded of the stories, when it makes them look old. The best thing, is to understand what causes wrinkles. Reducing wrinkles, is the main mission in the world of Hollywood and from this fans who are interested in skincare can start to explore their own treatment options.
Wrinkles are the clearest indication of the aging process. As we age, skin cells divide more slowly, and the dermis, which is the core layer of the skin, begins to thin out and lose its structural integrity. Elastin (the protein which allows skin to stretch) and collagen fibres (the structural proteins in the skin), which support the outer layer, weaken, causing deep impression's on the skins surface, which we call wrinkles . With aging, skin loses its elasticity, and levels of hydration deplete. It is less able to retain moisture, and oil-secreting glands are less efficient and the skin takes extended periods to heal. All of these factors contribute to the development of wrinkles.
Frown lines and crows feet are believed to develop because of small muscle contractions. Smiling, frowning, squinting and other regular facial expressions, cause these wrinkles to become more prominent and over and extended period of time, the expressions added with gravity contribute the inevitable formation of jowls, and drooping, sleepy eyelids.
Overexposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun, can result in the premature aging of the skin. The ultraviolet sunrays that cause photoaging, damage collagen fibres, and when ultraviolet light damages skin tissue, an enzyme called metalloproteinase is produced. This enzyme creates and reforms collagen. During the process, however, some healthy collagen fibres are damaged, resulting in a disorganized formation of fibres called solar scars. Wrinkles develop when the healing process occurs repeatedly.
Skin perpetually regenerates. While old collagen is broken down and removed new collagen is produced. Dermatologists have found that smoke causes a marked reduction in the production of new collagen and lack of new collagen results in the development of wrinkles. In light of all these environmental factors, that result in wrinkles, the fact that Hollywood, icons like Demi Moore and Madonna, are able to look more youthful, means that the systems that they use, to combat wrinkles, is very effective.
There are a myriad of treatment options for wrinkles, including various creams and lotions, such as those offered by specialist anti-ageing company, Angel and Weightman, which use a combination of plant extracts, enzymes, concentrated vitamins, stem cells and collagen, to clear the skin and smooth wrinkles . Prescription treatments, including powerful retinoid creams Retin-A, are also an option.
Removing skin layers to reduce wrinkles or irregular depressions is an effective way to regain smoother, more youthful looking skin. Dermabrasion and the more intensive, (and painful) chemical peels are two of the more widely used methods used in skin resurfacing. Laser skin resurfacing with an ablative laser (such as an erbium or carbon dioxide laser) is another technique that, like dermabrasion and deeper chemical peels, will need an extensive period of time for the skin to recover.

Dermatologists who work with celebrities, aside from using specialist anti-ageing creams, also use other methods, including lasers, designated as non-ablative lasers, which are beneficial in treating and reducing wrinkles. These lasers work by heating the dermal layers, and in turn stimulating collagen production. This process, which leaves the outer layers of skin intact, has the benefit of not having a long healing process, which allows for busy actors and the like to return to work or business, looking their very best. However, it has been reported that the results are not as noticeable as the previously mentioned ablative lasers which actually remove the surface layers of skin.

The Hollywood staple of Botox, collagen and other injections are the additional techniques available to help minimize the dreaded appearance of wrinkles, which is so much worse looking HD television. Wrinkles, are a bane on the life of a person that take pride in the way they look, and of course each person has his or her own individual needs that need to be fulfilled. Specialist skincare treatments, like the ones made by Angel and Weightman, help people to reduce wrinkles, and achieve the look of youthful perfection that they strive for.

LMFAO Joining Madonna At Super Bowl?

Will.i.am claims party rockers LMFAO will perform with Madonna at Super Bowl.By Gil Kaufman

It's a good thing the Super Bowl provides its halftime performer with the biggest platform in television, because according to the latest rumors Madonna is going to need a seriously massive stage to hold all her guests at the February 5 game.

Following reports that Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. as well as "The Voice" coach Cee Lo Green
may make appearances comes news that LMFAO could be called off the bench also.

A year after his group, the on-hiatus Black Eyed Peas, played the big game,
will.i.am told English radio station Capital FM that his party rocking homies will be in the mix. "I'm going to the Super Bowl this year to see my group LMFAO perform with Madonna," he said. "Check that out, Will.i.am Music Group is pretty freaking two for two! One year the Super Bowl, the next year another group part of the Super Bowl in collaboration with Madonna. That's still happening."

According to sources, the Madonna asked Green to perform with her at the showdown in Indianapolis between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots, which is traditionally the most-watched TV event of the year. "The Insider" reports that he's been flying to New York to rehearse with the pop icon. The sources add that he will contribute his signature flair to some of her classic tunes.

The pairing would make sense given that the new season of "The Voice" premieres right after the Super Bowl next month.MTV News caught up with the Queen of Pop at her "W.E." premiere earlier this week in New York, and the singer only had one tease about the Super Bowl gig. "I am not saying 'Yes,' and I am not saying 'No,' " she replied when asked whether Minaj and M.I.A. would take the stage with her. She added, "Pom poms. That's all I can tell you."

As if the pom poms and all the alleged guests aren't enough, the halftime show will be "imagined" by trippy Canadian circus troupe Cirque du Soleil and Madonna's longtime choreographer and creative director Jamie King. According to reports, the set list could include Madonna's new single, "Give Me All Your Luvin," as well as such classics as "Ray of Light," "Vogue" and "Music."

In addition to her Super Bowl performance, Madonna's fans are awaiting the release of her next studio album, M.D.N.A., out later this year.

Will Madonna Duet With Cee Lo Green At Super Bowl?

Sources say Madge will be joined by 'The Voice' judge during halftime performance.By Jocelyn Vena (@jocelyn1212)

Madonna might already have M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj on the stage with her for her big Super Bowl halftime performance; now comes word that she could also be joined by Cee Lo Green.

According to sources, the singer has asked "The Voice" judge to perform with her at the February 5 show. "The Insider" reports that he's been flying to New York to rehearse with the pop icon. The sources add that he will contribute his signature flair to some of her classic tunes.

The pairing would make sense given that the new season of "The Voice" premieres right after the Super Bowl next month.

Reps for both performers did not respond to MTV News' request for comment by press time.

MTV News caught up with the Queen of Pop at her "W.E." premiere earlier this week in New York, and the singer only had one tease about the Super Bowl gig. "I am not saying 'Yes,' and I am not saying 'No,' " she replied when asked whether Minaj and M.I.A. would take the stage with her. She added, "Pom poms. That's all I can tell you."

When the singer takes the halftime stage next month, her performance will be "imagined" by Cirque du Soleil and Madonna's longtime choreographer and creative director Jamie King. According to reports, the set list for the show will include new single "Give Me All Your Luvin" as well as the Madonna classics "Ray of Light," "Vogue" and "Music."

"I have eight minutes to set up my stage, 12 minutes to put on the greatest show on earth, and I have seven minutes to take it down so that football field is clean for the second half of the game," she told ABC News about the performance. "That's the challenge. How do you do that? I actually wanted to have 100 drummers come from the ceiling, a drum line from the ceiling."

In addition to her Super Bowl performance, Madonna's fans are awaiting the release of her next studio album, M.D.N.A., out later this year.

Why do they always have artists that are no longer relevant to do the Super Bowl halftime show? Madonna has a bizillion dollars, is her thirst for the spotlight unquenchable? Go enjoy your life.

Madonna wants Demi Moore to know she's there for her.

A source tells me that Madge contacted Moore shortly after hearing the news of her hospitalization...

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

I'm told that the singer called Moore, and the conversation apparently wasn't very long. "Madonna told Demi she was there if she needs anything," my source said.

Although Madonna and Moore aren't usually in regular contact, "they're pretty tight," the source said.

The two most recently hung out at CAA's pre-Golden Globes party at Soho House, where they spent most of the night chatting with each other. Ashton Kutcher also attended the bash, but the closest he came to Moore was talking to her daughter Rumer Willis.

I'm also told that before this week's ordeal, Moore was thinking about going to the Super Bowl to see Madonna's halftime show, but wasn't sure because she assumed Kutcher would also be there. Moore and Kutcher attended last year's game in Dallas, as well as some of the festivities throughout the weekend.

No word yet on the status of the annual post-Oscar party Moore cohosts with Madonna and her manager, Guy Oseary.
