Why Is Anne Hathaway Hiding Her Boyfriend?

Anne Hathaway is still going strong with Adam Shulman, but why is her beau of three years still so camera shy?

Adam accompanied her to the One Day premiere last night in NYC, and then skipped the carpet and photo ops.

And while she's trying to keep her love life quieter these days, Anne did spill a little scoop on her main man to E! News:

"He's in there hanging out with my friends," she replied when asked if she brought a plus one along.

It turns out Anne didn't even see her own movie last night, opting instead to do dinner with her man.

"It's so nerve-wracking that I'm not going to see it tonight," she explained to E! News. "I'm going to go to dinner and go sneak into a movie theater when it comes out and go see it."

After her messy breakup with former flame Raffaello Follieri, who's currently still in prison, it makes sense that the actress is attempting to keep her romance out of the news.

"Yes, I have a boyfriend," she told Marie Claire UK in the September issue. "And yes, I am very much in love with him. But you do need to keep your private life private. Adam totally ruined my plan. I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time and then I fell in love like a fool!'"

Anne shows off her rocking bod on the cover of the mag and says she's stepped up her fitness routine due to her Catwoman wardrobe.

"I don't know if you've ever had to wear a catsuit in the front of the world...it does tend to get you to the gym!" she dished.

As for the negative reactions that the catsuit has gotten since its unveiling, Anne says the hate can wait.

"I'm not really paying attention to that," she told us. "I have to still make the film so I'll wait for the critcism to happen when people actually see the film."
