Gabriel Aubry has one less thing to worry about.

Halle Berry's ex will not face charges in connection with his former nanny's allegations that he verbally abused her and, on Jan. 18, violently pushed her while she was holding his 2-year-old daughter, Nahla.

The staffer claimed her interactions with Aubry left her "psychologically traumatized."

So, how did authorities determine that they didn't have a case?

"The City Attorney's Office has declined to file charges in this matter due to insufficient evidence as well as no reasonable likelihood of conviction," office spokesman Frank Mateljan tells E! News.

A judge denied Aubry's accuser her request for a temporary restraining order last month.

The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services did end up conducting a routine investigation in response to the allegations that Nahla might be in a dangerous situation, but the agency's findings are classified.

Berry, in the meantime, has filed paperwork in hopes of being allowed to move to France with Nahla, a process that could take up to six months for a family court judge to approve—if the relocation is allowed at all.

She and Aubry were in court last week—along with reps from child services—and there were reports that a judge confined Aubry to supervised visits with Nahla, and no overnights.
