NCIS Boss Eyes Emmy Nod for Bob Newhart

If it's hard for you to believe that legendary TV funnyman Bob Newhart has never won an Emmy, don't worry: NCIS executive producer Gary Glasberg says he has trouble wrapping his head around that, too.

But Glasberg hopes that will soon change. Newhart, best known for his eponymous sitcoms The Bob Newhart Show and Newhart, guest-starred on NCIS last season as Dr. Walter Magnus, a former NCIS medical examiner who trained David McCallum's Ducky. "We came up with a list of actors that we thought that would be perfect for it," Glasberg says. "And then someone actually mentioned Bob. ... The role evolved and then turned into him. But initially, the thought was, 'Well, that'll never happen.'"

Fortunately for the show, Newhart's wife is a huge fan. "They go out to dinner every Tuesday night with some friends. But they always have to get home in time to watch NCIS," Glasberg says with a laugh. "Sure enough, he read the script and responded to it. The rest was just as smooth and entertaining and wonderful as could be."

But the role required some gravitas, too. Dr. Magnus' return was somewhat of a last hurrah, as the episode reveals that he's battling Alzheimer's disease. "My experience has been any time you can give a really talented comedic actor an opportunity to do some drama, they very often deliver," Glasberg says. "I knew that Bob had done some dramatic parts before, and we just sort of instinctually knew that this could work. This was an opportunity to see a different side of him and his real acting talent."

Glasberg says they also allowed Newhart to breathe some of his trademark style into the character. "His comedic timing is so specific to him that dialogue took on a whole new life when it was put in his hands," he says. "There's also a phone call sequence that happens about halfway through the show where Bob is ordering some takeout food. He has a history of doing scenes on the phone. That was something that we specifically wrote in to showcase what he's known for. It was a tiny, little moment that we added, and I'm thrilled that it came out the way that it did."

Although Glasberg would love to see Newhart back on the show, he says the character's situation probably won't allow for any repeat visits. "We recognized that this was a one-time thing," he says. "Very often when you write these parts and you get a great actor for it, you end up wishing that you had written it a little differently so that they could come back. But it would be unrealistic for me to think that he could return. All you can do is appreciate what the experience was and file it away as being unique."

But is it unique enough to earn Newhart an Emmy nod and perhaps, finally, a win?

"As we were filming it, I remember Mark Harmon turning to me and saying, 'Bob Newhart needs to be recognized for this. This is really special," Glasberg says. "The man has had an extraordinary television career. This was a role that allowed us to see him in a different way. If in return NCIS can give him some recognition through an Emmy nomination, we would be honored and thrilled to be able to provide that."

Nurse Jackie Finale Postmortem: Executive Producer Liz Brixius on Luck, Lies and Season 4

Somehow, Jackie continues to avoid rock bottom. During this season of Nurse Jackie, she got around a surprise intervention and then flirted with sobriety, though not by choice — her drug dealer died, Eddie cut her off and her kid's plea for prescription drugs forced her into temporary withdrawal.

But by the end of Monday's Season 3 finale, Jackie's stars had realigned once more: She was still using, yes, but O'Hara was back on her side, she had moved into the power position with Kevin and her all-important career remained intact. Could Jackie be the world's — or just TV's -- luckiest drug addict?

Nurse Jackie: Has the truth finally caught up with Jackie?

Executive producer Liz Brixius says yes and no: "She's Houdini! She's the luckiest addict in the world. But she's not. If you look at the score sheet, if you look at what it's really cost her, she's a f---ing mess. She's like every other addict. She lost her marriage. Her job's in jeopardy. She's compromised everybody around her. Her relationships aren't what they used to be. Just because she's up and running doesn't mean that it hasn't taken a huge toll."

Brixius spoke with TVGuide.com about just how lucky Jackie is, why O'Hara — and not Kevin — is the most important person in her life, and why next season, Kelly will be downright dangerous.

Can nothing crush Jackie (Edie Falco)? This season, most of her lies unraveled, and yet she continues to walk the line with both her career and Akalitus (Anna Deavere Smith), and her husband, Kevin (Dominic Fumusa).
Liz Brixius: That's where we wanted to be by the end of the season. Jackie's overestimated her own strength, but she's not passed out anywhere, she's not peeing in her pants. However, things around her are compromised. She's been able to metabolize a lot of consequences or think she has been able to metabolize them, but her husband was unfaithful. He went someplace else because she's just not there. In Season 2, he said, "I don't know where you go. I don't know where you are in your head, but you're not here." And then, in classic addict fashion, when he says, "Please forgive me," she says "Pack your bags." Jackie had two nooses around her. The first one was her husband closing in. The second was Akalitus — and she doesn't yet know that Akalitus has saved her.

But, it's a high-wire act and you can't stay up there all the time. It's all about the rush with Jackie. When she was sober, she missed it. She walked through traffic just to feel something. Most people who work in emergency rooms are adrenaline junkies; they live to be on the edge of that life or death cusp. This is a woman who works in the emergency room and is also an addict.

Why did a rule enforcer like Akalitus dump the pee?
Brixius: At the end, when she dumps the pee, it's basically her having gone through 30 years of being a shill for the hospital, doing everything she could do, and finally saying, "F--- it, I'm taking my nurse's side." It's like she's saying, "You use Coop (Peter Facinelli) as the face for all things. You didn't help me get Michelle Obama in here. You don't help me. So, I'm not going to help you hurt somebody I love."

Actually, we knew that Akalitus dumped the pee before we even started writing Episode 1... That was her arc. We had to have it approved by the network. Then, when the time actually came, they were like, "You cannot have her dump the pee -- then Jackie's off the hook!" We were like, "But Jackie doesn't know she's off the hook. It's going to be awesome!" I was like, "I want Jackie to turn to Kevin and say, 'Pack your bags' while 'Hit the Road Jack' plays and Akalitus walks down a long hallway and dumps it. You've got to let us do it!'"

Jackie seems to be insanely lucky in that way: Even now that the key people in her life, like O'Hara (Eve Best), know that she's got a drug problem, some are willing to help Jackie on her own terms. Where do you see her relationship with O'Hara heading next season?
Brixius: I think because I'm a woman in my 40s and both

NEW YORK., N.Y. -- My love affair with Pitbull (real name Armando Christian Perez) began when I first heard him on the Ying Yang Twins "Salt Shaker." I knew instantly that I was listening to a rising star and his new album, "Planet Pit," justifies my initial instincts.

But before I break down the new disc, which drops on June 21, let me give you my reasons as to why Pitbull has what it takes to dominate in a competitive music industry, which produces countless amounts of clones and manufactured artists.

Very few artists have that x-factor and Pitbull oozes originality and talent when it comes to his lyrics and his sound. He is the real deal. Musically, he has the power to get your a$$ on the dance floor and escape the hardships of reality by making you lose control and get a little wet n' wild with your inhibitions, even if for just a little while. His music just does that to you. I mean, the man has ruled the Billboard charts with each of his singles and he has a bulletproof formula to his music that generates loyal followers all over the globe. Moreover, his impressive collaborations with artists like Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Lil Jon and Enrique Iglesias, just to name a few, are further proof that Pit is a solid-gold genius that other artists respect and value in the music community. Mr. 305 is a hitmaker. Caso cerrado. (On a sidenote, what would make my Pitbull dream come true is collaboration with Miami's reigning dance queen, Gloria Estefan. Que dices, Pitbull?!)

As a Cubanito from Miami of Cuban immigrant parents, his music is deeply rooted in his culture and gozo de vivir, and that is what I love most about him and the product he puts out. When I listen to an artist, I want to be able to connect and vibe with that artist and their energy. And Pitbull's music does that to me. As a fellow Cubanita from Miami, his music makes me feel at home. He is the unofficial mayor of Miami and his music breathes the tropics. From freestyle to salsa throw backs and booty music mash ups, he kicks it old school without compromising the genres and meshing them as his own flavor. He fuses all these amazing hooks and lyrics and what's born is a sensational melting pot of vibrant melodies and dance hits. His energy is contagious and it's like a jolt of Cuban coffee when he gets on the mic and it tastes oh so good!

When I got my hands on "Planet Pit," I was at work, sitting at my desk in between shoots. I should have opted for a more appropriate non-office setting for my first listen, but I simply could not wait. What ensued next was me dancing around my office, fist pumping to EVERY single song on this album.

Yes, I had already been ridiculously obsessed with "Give Me Everything" and "Hey Baby"- both on a constant rotation on my iPod, so I wasn't surprised that I became quickly addicted to some of the other tracks on the album. "Rain Over Me," featuring Marc Anthony, is en route to become another smash hit. These two have such electrifying chemistry - Anthony with his killer vocals and Pit spitting Spanglish lyrics - that only a Cuban white rapper (move over Eminem!) can deliver with such ease and poetry. Next on my list, the remastered classic "Shake Senora" which is laced with some fun Caribbean and soul sazon. Que sabrosura! Last but not least, my two favorite tracks on the album, "Pause" and "Come n Go" featuring Enrique Iglesias, which are certain to become new dance club anthems.

Pitbull creatively mixes magnetic hip hop beats with some Latin flair and because he does that so brilliantly, he is able to broaden his musicality and bring in a diverse and eclectic audience into his world. Whether you are Cuban, Dominican, French, or Jamaican- it has no barriers. Pitbull is the Latin Midas and his new album, "Planet Pit," is solid gold. It is hands down the album of the summer! It's sizzling through and through.

Bridges, 69, will play Agent Kramer, a well-decorated federal officer and art expert who instructed Peter (Tim DeKay) when he trained at Quantico. Kramer has been Peter's mentor ever since, and his paternal nature offsets his intimidating presence.

White Collar: Is a musical episode in the works?

The three-time Emmy winner begins shooting Tuesday on the episode, titled "Countdown." It will air Aug. 9 and serve as White Collar's midseason finale. Bridges' casting comes weeks after Ghostbusters' Ernie Hudson was tapped to play Mozzie's childhood mentor.

Bridges, best known for starring alongside brother Jeff Bridges in The Fabulous Baker Boys, most recently romanced Sally Field on the final season of Brothers & Sisters.

White Collar airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on USA.

Sunday was a busy day in the entertainment world: Both the 2011 Daytime Emmy Awards and Canada's Much Music Video Awards were presented, but that didn't keep celebs from wishing a happy Father's Day to their own fathers and fans.

Hugh Hefner

Playboy chief Hugh Hefner nursed his broken heart with family and a movie on Father's Day.

"My daughter Christie joined us in the backgammon this afternoon. She & I were the winners. Nice Father's Day," Hef tweeted. "Super 8" is a super sci-fi film & proved to be a perfect film for the end of the Father's Day weekend. Family is what it's all about."

Ashley Tisdale

Disney queen Ashley Tisdale remembered the man who helped her start her career on father's day.

"Happy Fathers Day!!!! I'm so lucky to have such an amazing dad! Hope all the fathers out there have an amazing day! Xoxo," she wrote.

Leighton Meester

"Monte Carlo" star Leighton Meester recognized the irony in wishing her dad a happy day.

"Happy Fathers Day!! Ironically, I start shooting "I Hate You Dad" tomorrow # IHYD haha," she wrote.

Usher

Usher was raised by a single mother, so he recognizes the importance of a good father figure.

"Happy Father's Day to all who love their children...that goes for the hand as well was boilogical (sic) as well," he tweeted. He later corrected his spelling mistakes with another tweet.

"Pardon my spelling.:-) Again...To all the man who love their children...that goes 4 handpicked as well as biological. Happy Father's Day!!!"

Apparently some of his female fans weren't happy with his tweets.

In the six-part series, the Dutchess of York sets out to put her life in order after many publicized set-backs like her divorce to Prince Andrew. Along the way she deals with her weight, finances and relationships by receiving help from experts like Dr. Phil and Suze Orman. Dr. Phil calls her "emotionally bankrupt" in an early episode and Ferguson admits to us he was right.

While the series suggests she's looking to find out who the real Sarah Ferguson is, the 51-year-old Dutchess says she's learned she was always there.

"I'm actually the same person, I've just allowed Sarah to be the true person," she says. "I'm cheeky, I'm naughty, I'm funny, I'm feisty, I'm strong, I'm angry, I'm sad, I'm grumpy -- I'm all those things, but now I'm OK with all of those things."

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Hugh Hefner and Playmate Crystal Harris' highly publicized wedding had been scheduled to take place on Saturday. However, the pair announced their split on Tuesday, and Crystal took a quick trip to Sin City to clear her head on what would have been the former couple's wedding day.

"I'm doing OK," Crystal, 25, told press at Wet Republic poolside club in Las Vegas on Saturday. "I just had to get away. Today is the day, and I just had to get away."

The blond bombshell looked none the worse for wear, catching rays poolside with former "The Hills" star Heidi Montag, and stunning partygoers in a black bikini.

"I wanted to be true to myself and be true to what was best for everybody," Crystal said, when asked why her and Hef's marriage plans fell apart. "It was a mutual decision between the both of us.

"I'm giving Hef back the ring ... I just want to move forward," she continued.

Crystal, who is pursuing a career in music, was also photographed perusing a copy of Playboy's latest issue - which features the model on the cover with the headline, "Introducing Mrs. Crystal Hefner."

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, both Hugh and Crystal confirmed their split on Tuesday.

Hef shared the news on Twitter after the story first broke, Tweeting, "The wedding is off. Crystal has had a change of heart."

Later on Tuesday, Crystal issued a statement on her own website.

"After much deep reflection and thought I have decided to end my engagement with Hef," she said in her statement. "I have the utmost respect for Hef and wish him the best going forward. I hope the media will give each of us the privacy we deserve during this time."

On Tuesday, reports surfaced that Jordan McGraw was involved in the split. But, when asked if Dr. Phil's son was involved in the breakup, as had been reported, Crystal's manager shot down the rumor.

"Absolutely not true," manager Michael Blakey told Access Hollywood.

When Bristol Palin lost her virginity, it wasn't the romantic experience she had envisioned.

In her new autobiography, Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far, the 20-year-old single mom reveals that, while drunk for the very first time, she lost her virginity to Levi Johnston during a camping trip.

Palin says she woke up alone in her tent, with no recollection as to what happened. Johnston, meanwhile, "talked with his friends on the other side of the canvas."

When she confronted him about their sexual encounter, Johnston, now 21, told Palin what she wanted to hear: they wouldn't have sex again until they were married.

But, Palin writes, they became intimate again shortly after. When she learned she was pregnant in 2008, Palin was on birth control pills prescribed to treat her cramps; it took eight home pregnancy tests to convince her that she was expecting.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Rosanna Arquette will soon be a bride for the fourth time.

The 51-year-old actress, older sister of actors David Arquette and Patricia Arquette, is engaged to her boyfriend, Todd Morgan, Radar Online reports.

Todd, an investment banker, proposed to his ladylove last week, according to the website.

"Rosanna was kind of taken aback but absolutely thrilled when Todd proposed," a source told Radar. "She's completely in love and had no hesitation in accepting. She didn't think she would ever get married again and was happy with the way things were between her and Todd.

"But Rosanna is, at the heart of it, a real romantic," the source continued. "She's willing to give marriage another go."

On wedding day, Hugh Hefner embraces single life

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - On the day he was supposed to get married for the third time, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner said on Saturday he was probably better off staying single.

Hefner, 85, was dumped by 25-year-old fiancee Crystal Harris last weekend after she got jitters about living a tightly regimented life among dozens of attractive young women at the Playboy mansion in Los Angeles.

They were due to tie the knot on the grounds of the Gothic Tudor-style residence on Saturday afternoon, and to spend their honeymoon there.

"This was going to be my wedding day, but life is full of surprises. After all is said & done, staying single is probably for the best," Hefner said on Twitter.

Instead he will spend Saturday night watching "Runaway Bride," the 1999 romantic comedy that starred another real-life runaway bride, Julia Roberts.

For her part, Harris said she was leaving Los Angeles for a relaxing day trip with a Playboy public relations woman.

After Harris left Hefner, taking his beloved cocker spaniel Charlie with her, old friends and lovers descended upon the mansion to offer condolences. They included his second wife, Kimberley Conrad, and her mother; and former girlfriends Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt.

A heartbroken Hefner immersed himself in romantic comedies, hosting screenings of films such as "Sleepless in Seattle" and "50 First Dates" for his coterie of Playmates.

He also rushed out "Runaway Bride" stickers to be affixed to the new issue of Playboy, which features Harris -- a.k.a. "Mrs. Crystal Hefner" -- on the cover.

Hefner said he was blind-sided by the split, and denied a tabloid report that there has been a nasty argument.

Harris told "Entertainment Tonight" that Hefner's mandatory agenda of activities, strict 9 p.m. curfews and his refusal to allow her to leave town to visit friends and family led to her decision to break up with him.

She was also stressed out by meetings with attorneys about the prenuptial contract and other issues, and by the realization that she would have to compete for Hefner's affections.

"I can honestly say I was not the only woman in Hef's life. And I didn't feel comfortable in my heart knowing that, and being able to get married to him," she said.

Hefner, known around the world by his nickname, Hef, has championed sexual freedom and civil rights, published stories challenging McCarthyism and the Vietnam War, and backed gay causes and the legalization of marijuana.

Raised in San Diego by British parents, Harris met Hefner at his annual Halloween party in 2008. She moved in to the mansion after a few weeks and became Playboy's Playmate of the Month in December 2009.

Bristol Palin Says She Lost Her Virginity While Drunk in New Memoir

Bristol Palin admits she lost her virginity while drunk on a camping trip in her new memoir "Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far."

Palin writes that she got drunk for the first time on wine coolers and then lost her virginity to boyfriend Levi Johnston, according to the Associated Press. She awoke the next morning with Johnston talking "with friends on the other side of the canvas."

Bristol Palin gets her own reality show

After that night, Palin vowed to her mother, Alaska governor Sarah Palin, that she'd abstain from sex until marriage. She continued to have sex and at 18 became pregnant.

Palin's book, co-written by Nancy French, covers her family and her mom's run for vice president, but focuses on Johnston, whom she calls a "gnat ... constantly spreading false accusations" against her family. The two were engaged but called it off two weeks after the birth of their son Tripp and then reconnected in 2010 and again became engaged. They called it off three weeks later.

"I'd just made a complete fool of myself and given my family the middle finger," she says after learning Johnston was cheating on her. His side of the story will be told in his upcoming book, "Deer in the Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin's Crosshairs," due for publication this fall.

Palin adds in her memoir, out next week, that she's "just a normal girl who couldn't hide her problems and learned a few lessons along the way."

Charles Spencer, the brother of late Princess Diana, and Karen Gordon were married in England, People reports.

Gordon, who was previously married to Grey's Anatomy producer Mark Gordon, wore a sleeveless ivory lace dress. The ceremony took place at Spencer's ancestral home in Northamptonshire.

The guest-list at the nuptials included Spencer's four children from his first marriage and two children from his second marriage. Prince William, his nephew, and Princess Catherine did not attend.

Spencer, 47, and Gordon, 37, announced their engagement last February.

Prepare to see a pretty peppy Coop on the Nurse Jackie finale. And why not? He's getting married — on his birthday!

In the exclusive preview clip of the episode below, Coop (Peter Facinelli) strolls into the nurse's wing carrying his suit and tie for his nuptials. "Tuxedo, locked and loaded," he tells Jackie (Edie Falco), who barely cracks a smile. (Apparently she doesn't like being on cake duty.)

But it seems Coop may be the one without a smile before the episode ends. Expect a major hitch in his plans for the big day.

Jackass Star Ryan Dunn, 34, Dies in Car Crash

Jackass star and daredevil Ryan Dunn died at age 34 in a Pennsylvania car crash early Monday morning, TMZ confirms.
Dunn appeared in all three of the hit Jackass films alongside Bam Margera and Johnny Knoxville. Among Dunn's many claims to Jackass fame: In the first Jackass film (2002), he shoved a toy car up his rectum.

Police told TMZ that Dunn's 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 was found "off the road and in the woods" in West Goshen Township. Dunn and an unidentified passenger perished around 3 a.m. "as a result of injuries sustained in the accident." It's unclear whether alcohol was involved. "Speed may have been a contributing factor," cops added. Late Sunday, however, Dunn tweeted a pic of himself drinking with pals.

"We are devastated by the tragic loss of Ryan Dunn -- a beloved member of the MTV family for more than a decade," Van Toffler, President of MTV Networks Music/Films Group tells Us Weekly in a statement.
"He made us all laugh and had the tireless enthusiastic approach to life of your favorite middle school friend. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Ryan’s family and friends. The Jackass brotherhood will never be the same."

In the big-screen version of the Tony-nominated musical, Sherrie, played by Julianne Hough, is a small-town girl who moves to Los Angeles to follow her dreams of becoming an actress. There, she catches the eye of charming but arrogant star Stacee Jaxx (Cruise). The cast also includes Catherine Zeta-Jones, Alec Baldwin, Paul Giamatti, Bryan Cranston and Mary J. Blige.

Prison Inmate Confesses to Involvement in 1994 Tupac Shakur Shooting
A man in prison says he was involved in the November 1994 robbery and shooting of Tupac Shakur, AllHipHop.com reports.
Dexter Isaac, an inmate currently serving life in prison for murder, robbery and other offenses, came forward with his confession on Wednesday — the day before what would have been Shakur's 40th birthday.

Isaac said he was paid $2,500 by James "Jimmy Henchman" Rosemond, an entertainment mogul, for the robbery and shooting. Isaac said he confessed to prove Rosemond's involvement and to clear his own conscience. According to his confession, Isaac also knows what happened to Shakur's jewelry and claims he is in possession of a chain that was taken.
That attack, in which Shakur was shot five times, is considered by many to be the start of the East Coast-West Coast rap war that resulted in the murders of Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. Their murders remain unsolved. Shakur was shot four times in September 1996 and died six days later.
"I want to apologize to [Tupac Shakur's] family and for the mistake I did for that sucker [Jimmy Henchman]," Isaac told AllHipHop.com from prison. "I am trying to clean it up to give [Tupac and Biggie's] mothers some closure."

Elizabeth Hurley Divorce Finalized

Elizabeth Hurley and Arun Nayar were granted a divorce Wednesday at a brief hearing in London, The Associated Press reports. Neither party attended the hearing.

News of the divorce broke in April, and it was reported that Hurley's papers cited "unreasonable behavior." This followed months of estrangement, which Hurley announced in December via Twitter after being caught on film kissing Australian cricket player Shane Warne.

Hurley and Nayar, an Indian textile heir, married in March 2007 after dating for four years.

Hurley has 8-year-old son, Damian, from a previous relationship with millionaire Stephen Bing. Though Hurley had a very public, 13-year relationship with Hugh Grant, they never married — Nayar was her first husband.

Arnold Schwarzenegger's Mistress Mildred Baena Tells All, Should She Have Kept Quiet?

The mistress of Arnold Schwarzenegger has gone to the press to tell her side of her affair with the former California governor. But her sugar-coated account of what went down may backfire on her. Was it wrong for Mildred Baena to kiss and tell before we've heard a peep from Maria?

Baena, who goes by the name Patty, gave Hello Magazine all the sordid details, making Maria Shriver's revelation of her husband's affair sound like it was a therapy session for the one time housekeeper!

The article includes a photo of mom and her 13-year old son, Joseph (and yes, he looks like Arnie!)

But because Baena claims she wasn't paid a dime for the tell-all, one has to wonder why she did it.

According to the article, Maria Shriver's revelation that her husband had a mini-me resulted in her comforting Patty in an impromptu therapy session '" and even asking her to stay on as the family housekeeper.

Baena claims that it was Shriver who put the pieces of the paternity puzzle together, saying that Shriver eventually asked her point blank if her husband was the father of Joseph when it became obvious that the child resembled Schwarzenegger.

"Maria asked me directly if Joseph was Arnold's son, and I just broke down. I dropped to my knees and I was crying, saying that yes he was and I was so sorry. She cried with me and told me to get off my knees." Baena said.

Baena also said that she offered to pack up and leave the family home immediately, but that Shriver asked her to stay until after the holidays.

And in what could be construed as a slap in the face for Shriver, Baena also said, "I told her it wasn't Arnie's fault. It takes two."

Which two was she talking about? Her and Arnie? Or was she justifying Arnie's cheating ways by implying that his wife should share part of the blame?

Although Baena surprisingly claims she never directly told Schwarzenegger that he was the father of her child, when told that the "Terminator" star was his dad, Baena's son ( who is clearly a young man of few words), reportedly said, "Cool."

But perhaps the strangest part of the story is Baena stating how much she loves and respects Shriver and how much Arnold is suffering, saying, "I hope with time they work things out."

Out of respect for Shriver, Baena would have done better if she had kept her story to herself'"and kept mum with the well wishes.

Baena claims she wanted to get her side of the story out there because so many lies have been printed about her. But her account of what went down with Maria sounds a little too kumbaya'"unless Maria is looking for saint canonization someday!

As for Baena's goal in this whole mess-- to tell the truth? Guess better late than never.

Joss Stone Targeted in Murder Plot, Plus Other Celebrity Stalkers

Apparently, swords and a red Fiat Punto are this season's must-haves for would-be murderers.

Two men were arrested Wednesday near singer Joss Stone's home in Devon, England. The pair were reportedly found with swords, rope, a body bag, and detailed maps and aerial photos of Stone's property. The criminal masterminds reportedly drew the attention of the star's neighbors, who noticed the red Fiat slowly circling the area.

Authorities have said that Joss is aware of the arrests and is being updated with developments. What can we say? They just don't make robber-assassins like they used to.

Scary as it may be, unwanted attention is a price celebs pay in exchange for their stardom and wealth. In the meantime, Joss can take comfort in the fact that she's not alone. Here are a few celebs who faced similar scares and lived to tell the story.

Actor Michael Douglas and wife Catherine Zeta-Jones were the target of crazed stalker Dawnette Knight in 2004. Obsessed with Douglas, Knight viewed Catherine as a rival and sent letters threatening to "cut up Zeta Jones and feed her to the dogs." The pair later testified against Knight, who was sentenced to three years in prison.

"Kill Bill" actress Uma Thurman was harassed for years by a man claiming to be in love with her. Jack Jordan sent the actress letters and drawings, including ones of an open grave and a razor blade. Even after his 2008 conviction, he continued to contact Thurman from jail, making calls to her office and cell phone. Anyone feeling the need to check the locks on their doors?

In a similarly ill-conceived plan, a homeless man named William Lepeska, was charged with burglary and stalking following his nude swim across Biscayne Bay in an attempt to find tennis star Anna Kournikova's home. He was apprehended in a neighbor's pool area about three houses away from Kournikova, and he allegedly screamed, "Anna! Save me!" while being arrested.

Brad Pitt's stalker Athena Rolando snuck into the actor's home while he was away, dressed in some of his clothes, and fell asleep in the bedroom. She reportedly entered through a rear window and had fun playing house (and dress-up?) until a caretaker found her. She was sentenced to probation in 2009 for misdemeanor trespassing.

Olympic gold medalist and "Dancing With the Stars" competitor Shawn Johnson became the object of one crazy man's obsession. Thirty-four-year-old Robert O'Ryan tried to break into the studios while Johnson was dancing. Police searched the man and his car, and found a loaded gun, love letters, and rolls of duct tape. O'Ryan claimed that he moved from Florida to California to be near the gymnast, who promptly got a restraining order against him.
